Here’s another food discovery, something different… something new… affordable meals with good taste and quantity. Are you tired of the usual meals in food courts? Go Greek! is one latest addition to Glorietta 4′s food choices, now you can have a taste of the Greek cuisine within your budget…

It was my first time to try Greek food, wanting to have a good meal; my friend suggested that I try the Lamb Gyro Platter… Gyro or Greek sandwich is just like eating the usual Shawarma but here you can have it with the Pita bread and/or rice and with my choice of lamb chops topped with their secret sauce. ;) Ordering it as a platter made it a bigger meal because it also included Greek salad and baked potatoes.

My friend tried their Lemon Chicken Platter with 1/4 slab of Chicken, rice, Greek salad and baked potatoes. Each meal just cost 155php, very affordable with right amount of serving.

We definitely had a big satisfying dinner, yum, yum, yum! Till our next visit… :)

SereniTEA

by on Dec.27, 2009, under Blog, Food

After having a sumptuous meal and satisfying your food cravings, your palate will then want something light and soothing  that can somehow help in digestion… will you go for a coffee or tea? :)

I must admit I’m really not a TEA person but when I tried Serenitea’s warm Hokkaido Milk Tea, it changed my outlook on having flavored/milk/special teas after meals…

I loved it! :) Sipping Hokkaido Milk tea gave me a relaxing and soothing feeling… A real great help after a stressful day at the mall with so many shoppers and  having a big satisfying dinner…

My friend ordered for Serenitea’s Strawberry Milk Tea with jelly, one of their best-sellers and I can say another good drink if you want your tea to be cold.

Serenitea offers different kind of teas – brewed, warm, cold, fruity, lattes, and milk teas.  If you want the usual teas, you can go for the brewed and fruiteas but for the adventuresome, tease, tea latte and milk tea selections are worth trying.  Another good thing about Serenitea is that you can select your own level of sweetness – ranging from no sugar to full sugar. :)

Serenitea is a must stop… if you want a drink that can relax the body, mind and soul.

…a cool place to have a light chat with a friend.

… the best solution for digestion after a heavy meal.

Everything at Steak

by on Dec.23, 2009, under Blog, Food

It was just recently that I was able to visit once again our family’s favorite steak house in San Juan. Everything at Steak is located just beside the Petron Station along P. Guevarra st. A cozy steak house with great food, reasonable prices and appropriate servings. Currently, the place has just been renovated and I say it looked better and created a more clean homey ambience.

Of course, we craved for their steaks, T-bone and Rib Eye with our preferred sauce, gravy and barbeque. All steaks included  your choice of sidings – coleslaw, corn and carrots, twister fries, yummy homemade mashed potatoes and etc.

We had a very satisfying dinner with great steaks and sidings at less than 200php per meal. Everything at Steak is the best place to visit if you are craving for steaks at any time of the day and within a budget. :)

Tutti Frutti Frozen Yogurt

by on Dec.13, 2009, under Blog, Food

Eating any dessert after meals has been a routine for me and my meal would not be complete without it. I love desserts but sometimes I try to move away from too many sweets that I opt for yogurts – sweet, cold and definitely healthy. :) It is a good thing that frozen yogurts are now the latest craze and Tutti Fruitti Frozen Yogurt made it more fun and enticing because this is the only yogurt bar where you can customize your own yogurt – with their self-service counters.
