2nd stop – Merienda/early dinner time… we rode a cab to get to Camp John Hay, went down on the area with restaurants and some retail shops looking for Choco-Late de Batirol… it was not situated with the other establishments…so we walked our way to Gate 2, where we found a small, semi-lighted open, quaint, serene ambience restaurant…Welcome to Choco-Late de Batirol!
A quick photo op of their menu and weaved placemat…
Choco-Late de Batirol is known for their signature hot chocolate, Filipino desserts but they also offer other dishes for breakfast, lunch, merienda and a lot more.
We ordered bibingka… it tasted different from Manila bibingkas, very light, soft and delicious…
Of course, we should not miss their hot chocolates… we had their Traditional Blend and Baguio Blend… tasted real chocolate, not that sweet but it was good… wished it was not too cold in Baguio so the warmth of our hot chocolates would last longer…
Bibingka and hot chocolate… a very yummy combination…
We also had Pancit Palabok, it was also delicious…
We enjoyed dining in Choco-Late de Batirol, the place was very relaxing and food was great.
