by on Nov.15, 2010, under Blog, Food

UP  Diliman is really a far, far away land for me…this is the reason why it was just recently I visited The Chocolate Kiss Cafe resto and I must agree really serves the good stuff…Yumyumyum… :)

After hearing a lot of good reviews on this cafe, it’s about time to invade UP and have a taste of what The Chocolate Kiss Cafe offers…

I liked the cafe’s ambiance, it was quiet, cozy and a good place to have a simple dinner date.  ;)

We ordered 2 of their house specialties, Kalbi Chim and Grilled Fish Steak. Food serving was just right, enough for a very delicious meal that will keep you wanting for more… ;)   Beef and Tuna were cooked well, soft and juicy…with good taste.

As for dessert, we had a slice of their famous Devil’s Food Cake, rich chocolate cake with chocolate fudge filling and marshmallow frosting. Definitely a sinful dessert… hehehe.

Another thing we loved in Chocolate Kiss Cafe was their homemade iced tea, taste of a freshly brewed cold tea with honey and kalamansi… a very relaxing and refreshing drink… good thing it was bottomless so we had several glasses… :)

Overall, our Chocolate Kiss experience was superb; food and ambiance were really great! We would love to go back but the only issue is the location, hope they can expand and open another branch near the metro…. :) Love, love, love! ;)

Aperto desserts and drinks

by on Oct.31, 2009, under Blog, Food

Having dinner without desserts gives you a feeling of craving for anything sweet just to give you a satisfying feeling. On our way back home, we passed along this new dessert shop, a must stop for people who missed their desserts and can’t really get back home without having one. ;P

Aperto offers a wide variety of drinks from hot coffees, ice blended, smoothies, floats, iced teas and their special flavored jet teas. Banana flavored jet tea was the drink we desired and tried.

For cakes and pastries, there were cupcakes, brownies, cheesecakes and other special cakes. We craved for the rich chocolate cake that was named Choco paradise cake.  First taste would instantly bring you a sweet and heavenly feeling of its rich chocolate taste and cream filling.

One glass of Banana Flavored Jet Tea is a good choice of drink to go along this Choco Paradise cake. This drink’s very light and distinct flavor complement very well with the sweetness of the cake.
