It is hard to say goodbye to a person who has displayed pure intentions and good character that had greatly influenced other people’s lives to become better. Cory Aquino has lived a fruitful life not just for her family but for the whole nation. She was a self-less person and cared more for the others.
Today is her burial and the whole nation is grieving. Filipinos from all walks of life have trooped to Ayala and Manila Cathedral to show support and share their prayers for Cory. These past few days, it has been all about Cory in the newspaper, television and the talk of almost everyone. She is just Cory but SHE has definitely made a great impact to all Filipinos and the whole world.
Thank you, Tita Cory for sharing your life with us. You will be forever remembered and we will continue your good ways and mission for the Filipinos. Goodbye!
A simple admiration to Cory Aquino

Once again, Filipinos are united because of this Lady in Yellow. She has been looked upon by Filipinos because of her courageous efforts and determination in fighting for the Philippine democracy. We were one with her during the People Power Revolution in 1986, she knew what we needed at that time, she wanted the best for all of us, and she was committed to fight for every Filipino.
I was then in my childhood stage at 4. Being a child, I know nothing and didn’t understand what was happening around me. The only memory that I still keep is seeing people marching going to EDSA, nuns holding each other, praying the rosary and hearing that my parents will also go to EDSA and join this group. And the only tangible memory that I still have is this picture of me holding yellow stuffs, wearing yellow and striking a pose showing my support to Cory Aquino.
I believe that Filipinos have become better because of Cory. She has touched lives and became a role model to almost everyone. Now that we all know her current health condition, our prayers are very much needed. It is now time to return her the favor, let us all join and help her by offering prayers and masses for her recovery and life. Filipinos have also showed their support by tying a Yellow Ribbon; I am showing my support by posting a Yellow Ribbon in this blog.
