Green Halo Organic Store and Cafe
by webby on Apr.08, 2011, under Blog, Food
Welcome to Halo Café, where heavenly dishes are served… enjoy wide selection of healthy and organic foods suitable for health conscious foodies, from appetizers, rice meals, sandwiches, pastries, coffee, alcohol drinks and a lot more.
It was merienda time and so we just had some of their sandwiches – Eggplant and Cheese and Tomatoes & Chicken Pesto. It was delicious but the filling was so little, (tipid na tipid), not enough for the price.
We tried their signature drink, Halo’s love potion or also called Gayuma drink… the taste was good and refreshing… we even asked the waiter on the mixture content, and from what I can remember it was made from vanilla, banana and gin? Hehehe! We were surprised on its’ alcohol content, definitely can be addictive…
Halo Café is a small coffee shop along Cubao Expo.
Bellini’s Italian Restaurant

Welcome to Bellini’s Italian Restaurant which is located inside Cubao Expo. We were in Cubao Expo for a photo walk day and arriving too early (most shops were still closed), we found Bellini’s as one of the only open shops at that time (1 to 2pm), we dined for some appetizer and Italian desserts…
Here’s some breadsticks on the house…
Our main snack, Bruschetta Pomodoro included 4 toasted breads with pesto and tomatoes as toppings. A delicious and healthy snack…
And for our desserts, we had one Pharaoh’s Delight, vanilla gelato topped with Pistachios…
Another gelato cake, After Eight , minty chocolate flavor…both were cold and yummy… hehe!
Bellini’s interiors were very well decorated, great paintings, photos, and there were also a wall of Mr. Bellini’s achievements…a very interesting place to dine in…and Mr. Robert Bellini was very friendly and can even serve you your food or clean your table…

Cubao Expo Food Trip
by webby on Oct.24, 2009, under Blog, Food
Here’s another food spot for TKL, Cubao Expo is a haven of the unusual shops and restos in the Metro. Alan’s Grill has this homey and artistic look and ambience that caught our attention and dined. The place is designed with photos and paintings on walls which are also being sold. This is a perfect place to relax, dine and hangout particularly if you love arts and Filipino food.
Alan’s Grill offers delicious and reasonable priced Filipino cuisine; rice toppings and binalot sa dahon.
We were able to taste their own Sisig, Mixed Seafood rice and Lechon Tokwa rice. We had a satisfying dinner and enjoyed everything in Alan’s Grill.
