Art’s Cream Gallery Gelato and Cafe
by webby on Aug.15, 2009, under Blog, Food
Calling all artists!!! If you are looking for a new place to hang out, Art’s Cream Gallery is a cool dessert place to visit. This new dessert shop will let you experience how to indulge with art.
They offer delectable and unique gelato ice cream flavors to choose from. One scoop of gelato ice cream ranges from 70php and up. We find it a bit pricey to eat one scoop each and so we just ordered their banana split style ice cream which was named Split Second. You can choose your own flavors, we had Strawberry (with real fruit in it), Formaggio (so cheesy) and Hazel nut (but with a different name, forgot…hehe) at 200php only. It was reasonably priced and definitely more worth it because of its big serving and yummy taste.
We were just 2 who indulged on these 3 big scoops of ice cream; we had a hard and sinful time in finishing it all but it was fun to do something like this once in a while.
Life is too short not to indulge yourself.
They also offer cheap coffee drinks, had a shot of their menu but we were not able to try it… maybe next time!
Amici + Caramia

After watching Harry Potter, we can’t decide where to have our dinner. We were looking for a place with good food but with reasonable price. I have been hearing good reviews about this latest dessert shop, Caramia Gelateria and so we decided to try it. We had our movie in Promenade, Greenhills and so we just walked outside of Greenhills (located in Missouri corner Connecticut St.) to get there. It was a simple and sweet dessert shop which offers gelato cakes and ice cream which is also owned by Amici.
We were already starving at that time and so we first had dinner in Amici, which is located just beside Caramia (actually it was connected). We ordered for pasta, Spinach Fusili Montanara (195php), something light because we wanted to make room for desserts. The pasta was great, thought it was light but not because of its very rich flavor and thick sauce.
We were able to finish our pasta in just about 10 minutes and quickly transferred to the Caramia side. The cakes and ice cream displays were really enticing that you would want to order and try them all. We finally agreed to have Choco Tartufo (85php) as our gelato cake and Sansrival flavor (50php) for our gelato ice cream.
They tasted so heavenly but I must admit very sinful, though gelato is considered with less fat content. As I was saying, all of their displays were really tempting and people would always be busy checking out which dessert to order. We enjoyed our visit in Amici and Caramia and would definitely come back for more cake and ice cream gelato.
