On The Spot Food Photography
by webby on Feb.21, 2011, under Blog, Food, T-Files
Food Photography is known in creating that perfect shot to make your food look real good and which also requires lots of money and resources to make it work.
Being a foodie and a photographer, I love looking at food menus but I usually get disappointed after being excited over a very enticing food photo of my order then getting something that really looks different. Too commercialized food photos can sometimes be deceiving and can make customers unhappy.
But with On The Spot Food Photography by shotnroll, they have this concept of shooting on the spot before eating the food. Basically, you just have to prepare your food the normal way (how you present it to your customers) and they will shoot it right there with the available resources.
With few resources on hand and the shoot then eat concept, choosing On The Spot Food Photography by shotnroll can work well with your budget. At the same time achieving great food shots that can promote good appetite and make your customers happy.
On The Spot Food Photography by shotnroll is into shooting your food as served and creating the best shot making it look real, artistic, and appealing.

The Chocolate Kiss Cafe
by webby on Nov.15, 2010, under Blog, Food
UP Diliman is really a far, far away land for me…this is the reason why it was just recently I visited The Chocolate Kiss Cafe resto and I must agree really serves the good stuff…Yumyumyum…
After hearing a lot of good reviews on this cafe, it’s about time to invade UP and have a taste of what The Chocolate Kiss Cafe offers…
I liked the cafe’s ambiance, it was quiet, cozy and a good place to have a simple dinner date.
We ordered 2 of their house specialties, Kalbi Chim and Grilled Fish Steak. Food serving was just right, enough for a very delicious meal that will keep you wanting for more…
Beef and Tuna were cooked well, soft and juicy…with good taste.
As for dessert, we had a slice of their famous Devil’s Food Cake, rich chocolate cake with chocolate fudge filling and marshmallow frosting. Definitely a sinful dessert… hehehe.
Another thing we loved in Chocolate Kiss Cafe was their homemade iced tea, taste of a freshly brewed cold tea with honey and kalamansi… a very relaxing and refreshing drink… good thing it was bottomless so we had several glasses…
Overall, our Chocolate Kiss experience was superb; food and ambiance were really great! We would love to go back but the only issue is the location, hope they can expand and open another branch near the metro….
Love, love, love!

Thanks to the Ultimate Taste Test 3 event, TKL was able to experience the heavenly taste of these delectable sweets that would leave you with a very gratifying feeling and wanting for more.

Avocado Sansrival, chewy cashew meringue, layered with special avocado butter icing… I’ll be honest I’m not really into sansrivals but this Avocado Sansrival is definitely something different. Ice Castle – Simply the Finest Halo-halo in Cebu
by webby on May.29, 2009, under Blog, Food
Here’s our story… while strolling around Ayala mall, we saw people in line, trying to line up in a resto called Ice Castle… Hmmm… Why are there so many people? Got near the entrance, saw pictures of icy halo-halo and big and colorful ice creams… Hmmm… Okay, let’s line up!

Ice Castle at Ayala mall Cebu
Thou the line was long, we didn’t really wait that long because the turnover was quick. We ordered 1 Special Halo-Halo @ 66.50php and 1 Banana Craze @ 125php…

Ice Castle Menu

Halo-halo and Banana Craze
Yes it was icy, yummy, and really worth the price.
I think their Halo-Halo is very affordable and has more ingredients (sahog) compared to what we have here in Manila. We definitely enjoyed our mini and accidental merienda of Halo-Halo and Ice Cream.
In case you will be in Ayala Cebu, Ice Castle is a must try and you will surely come back for more desserts and ice creams.
