Chuck’s Deli
by webby on Oct.19, 2011, under Blog, Food
I currently work in Eastwood City but it was just recently that I got to eat in Chuck’s Deli. Thanks to Ensogo’s discount voucher, we only paid 99php for 200php worth of food and drinks at Chuck’s Deli.
I was delighted to meet Chuck’s signature super sandwiches called the Slabwiches… can be ordered by half or whole, prices ranges from 175php to 255php for the half while whole slabwiches ranges from 295php to 495.
I love Buffalo wings so I ordered The Buffy, Buffalo chicken and garlic sauce; it was so tasty, a bit spicy and filling was really BIG!
Foodie mate 1 had The Pilgrim, a Thanksgiving sandwich…
with Roast Turkey meat, stuffing, cranberry jelly and gravy…
While Foodie mate 2 ordered for Chuck’s Roast Beef, good juicy Angus roast beef and Chucks sauce…
And another good thing about Chuck’s slabwiches, they were all served with Onion Rings or Chips, of course, we all opted for the big, crunchy, yummy Onion Rings, love it…
Overall, we had a very satisfying dinner, their slabwiches were so sulit and I even had my half as take out…Super nakakabusog!
Next time, I might just try their O.M.G. (Oh My Greens!); Chuck’s salads for diet conscious foodies (forever on a diet) like me… See you!

Craving for classy, healthy, and really satisfying sandwiches?
Well, here’s something new for you try, we had recently discovered this cool and friendly deli just located in Northeast Greenhills neighborhood… say hello to Deliboys!
We had one of their main sandwiches; the Roast Beef Sandwich…really overflowing roast beef… with great sauce.
A bit pricey but worth it because it was really satisfying and can be shared by 2.

Make your own Sandwich - Turkey Pastrami,Tomato, Garlic Cream Cheese, Cheddar Cheese in Foccacia bread - total @175php
Also, Deliboys offers “Make your Own” sandwich; I tried it and selected everything from the bread, to cold cuts, add-ons (i.e. tomato, cheese), sauce and other garnishes. Yes, you have the freedom to choose which ones you would like to include in your sandwich! What a brilliant idea?!
And they really have a lot of options so I guess you can come up with the craziest sandwich ever! Hahaha! For the diet conscious people, well you can really control your food in this “Make your Own” sandwich option.
While dining we were also given a free taste of their cookies… didn’t get its name but it was good!
Deliboys does not only offer a wide variety of sandwiches but also has pastas, salads, steaks a lot more! This deli can also be your one-stop shop for cold cuts, cheeses and other stuff which are not always available in our usual supermarkets.
Deliboys is located in the latest mini “mall” along Connecticut St. in Greenhills. Their foods are also good for take-outs and I think they deliver with one of the recognized delivery services in the metro.
The Bread Bag – Pandesal Bar

Who loves Pandesal?
I do. I love it warm and with my coffee…hmmm… it surely makes my breakfast complete.
But who said you can only enjoy Pandesal during breakfast? Thanks to The Bread Bag – Pandesal Bar, you can eat Pandesal anytime of the day and savor it more with irresistible and variety of fillings.
It was late night already and we were still finding for a place to eat… we spotted The Bread Bag – Pandesal Bar, a cozy shop along Ortigas Home Depot.
We were then enjoying big, super filled, delicious Pandesal with Kapeng Barako on the side… Hmmmm Yumyumyum…
I love Kesong Puti! I never thought that it can go with Pesto and balsamic vinegar syrup. It was the most simple and healthiest filling among the other choices for me…
We also had one of their best sellers, the Corned Beef Pandesal made from real beef, thinly sliced and tasty. Definitely a must try!
And of course, we won’t enjoy our Pandesal without the real taste of coffee… Kapeng Barako, really love its strong flavor.
This was a unique dining experience for us, having to experience a satisfying breakfast at a late night. Hehehe… Thanks The Bread Bag.
The Bread Bag also delivers, you may also visit their site for the full list of menu http://www.thebreadbagpandesal.com/index.html
Enjoy every bite of your Pandesal!
Gino’s Eats and Beats
by webby on Aug.01, 2010, under Blog, Food
It has been ages since my closest friends and I had dinner, we tried a new place along Jupiter St. in Makati, it was called Gino’s Eats and Beats. It was a perfect place for small groups just like us with cozy ambiance and good food; a great spot for simple talks and catching up.
Looking for something light to eat, we ordered for Gino’s 3 Cheese Sandwich, it was really yummy, thanks to the pesto flavor which made it superb!
Here comes the most-loved Eggs Benedict, egg and cheezy topping overload… Yum yum!
We also tried one of Gino’s best-sellers, BBQ spare ribs, too much fat but taste was good and even better with the BBQ sauce that goes with it.
Overall, our dining experience was great, good food and service, clean and cozy ambiance, and reasonable prices. Too bad, there was a private function that evening so we were not able to stay that long and didn’t experience Gino’s Beats which usually happens in late evenings… I guess there’s always a next time and some other time to try Gino’s other best dishes.
